What is Medicon Valley?

Medicon Valley is a binational cluster that spans the island of Zeeland in eastern Denmark and the Skåne region of southern Sweden. Medicon Valley is one of Europe's strongest life science clusters and flourishes with excellence in the entire pharmaceutical value chain from target identification over preclinical and clinical development to manufacturing. The R&D process is mastered by companies within bio- or medical technology strongly supported by many specialised service providers, i.e. CRO's, consultants or patent attorneys. More than 300 life science companies are presently located in Medicon Valley.
