As of today, you can find life science news in living images at www.mva.org and not only in written words. Medicon Valley TV provides you with an ongoing flow of news from the region and gives you as an MVA member the opportunity to reach a wider audience in the region as well as internationally. The news is categorised into four sections: Life science in general; Biotech & Pharma; Medtech; and University Research. Read more
More than 200 executives, senior managers, and industry specialists have now registered for Meeting Medicon Valley 2008. Twenty of MVA's biotech members have submitted a poster and the poster committee has identified three of these companies to give a 15 minute plenum presentation. We are also pleased to announce a strengthened programme: Stephan Christgau, NOVO Seeds, has accepted to take over the empty spot in our programme and will present NOVO under the title "Creating and Financing new Life Science Companies". MVA, along with LUMI and Øresund IT, is co-arranging the first Øresund symposium on Medical Decision Support Systems in health care and research. The first symposium held on 9 October 2008 will explore current activities in Medicon Valley. The programme includes presentations of company products, clinical experiences and an update on ongoing research projects. Read more

The medical device company Bonesupport has acquired Ultrazonix, a medical technology company which has developed a new ultrasound based method for treatment of herniated discs. At the same time Bonesupport is implementing a new share issue of SEK 122 million to guarantee continued expansion. Read more
Copenhagen Business School will repeat the success of spring 2008 and run the Sustainable Innovation Camp - a new innovative course concept, combining academia and industry.
