New Forces to Medicon Valley Alliance

MVA would like to welcome Peter Nordström and Anne Mette Lyck to Medicon Valley Alliance.

Peter Nordström has joined as Senior Project Manager

Peter Nordström will, among other things, be involved in Øresund Diabetes Academy, a cross-regional and cross-sectorial interest group whose aim is to promote and encourage research, development and treatment of diabetic diseases. The main focus for ØDA is to plan for the development of a Medicon Valley Center of Excellence for Clinical Diabetes Research.

Peter will also be coordinating a new MVA event, the Medicon Valley Golf Championship, which will be held in Skåne, early June 2009. Peter is Key Account Manager for the pharmaceutical companies among MVA's members.

Peter previously worked at AstraZeneca as Project Manager and Patient Safety Expert from 2000-2007 and during 2008 as Business Office Lead within Patient Safety.

Anne Mette Lyck has joined as Communication and Sales Specialist

Anne Mette Lyck will be involved in corporate and member communication and furthermore in the marketing of MVAs member activities and advertising in MVA media.

Anne Mette will be responsible for MVA Calendar Service and the exposure of events at www.mva.org/calendar. Anne Mette is Key Account Manager for the service providers among MVA's members.

From 2005-2008 Anne Mette worked at Confex Denmark as Project Manager.
