University of Copenhagen no. 1 in Scandinavia

A fresh survey that accentuate cited researchers ranks University of Copenhagen as best in Scandinavia and top class in Europe. 

The University of Copenhagen is the best university in Scandinavia according to a ranking made by Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the 8th best in Europe. Moreover the University of Copenhagen moves up from number 56 to 46 worldwide. 

The survey considers among other things the number of cited researchers in scientific journals such as Science and Nature. There has not been made any changes in the ranking methodology compared to last years' survey.
