Three New Life Science Ambassadors Joining The Life Science Ambassador Programme

In 2008 Medicon Valley Alliance sent its first Life Science Ambassador to Kobe-Kansai. The Life Science Ambassador Programme has since proved to be of such great value that it is now being expanded to also include South Korea and Canada, and will involve the exchange of three new Life Science Ambassadors. Region Skåne, Region Sealand and the Danish Capital Region Growth Forum are sponsoring the programme to the tune of DKK 14.7 million, thereby making collaboration with South Korea and Vancouver possible.

Three New Life Science Ambassadors

The three new Life Science Ambassadors will focus on knowledge sharing, partnership building and identifying potential commercial and research opportunities between the respective clusters and Medicon Valley. MVA encourages all Medicon Valley stakeholders to make use of the unique opportunities that lies in the exchange of Ambassadors.

	Søren Harbel Søren Harbel comes from a position as Director of the British Columbia Innovation Council, Vancouver, Canada. For the next three years, Søren Harbel will live and work in Medicon Valley, strengthening collaboration and relations between Medicon Valley and British Columbia, Canada. 	Morten Fæster  Morten Fæster comes from a position as Senior Director, Business Development & Licensing, at Nycomed, and will for the next three years act as Søren Harbel's counterpart in British Columbia, strengthening collaboration and relations between Medicon Valley and British Columbia, Canada. 	Christian Rhee Christian Rhee comes from a position as CEO of CR Consult and as advisor to the government of the Province of GyeongGi in South Korea. Christian Rhee will be stationed in Seoul, South Korea as Medicon Valley's Life Science Ambassador, and will endeavour to strengthen collaboration and relations between Medicon Valley and Seoul, South Korea. Christian takes up his position 1st of October 2009. View profile and contact details.
