The First Pre-seed Grant From Novo Seeds Awarded

CytoGuide, a new Danish biotech company, is the first to receive a pre-seed grant from Novo Seeds. The grant allows CytoGuide to reach proof of concept and secure its patent protection. 

- CytoGuide represents a perfect pre-seed case, and we are excited about supporting this very early stage company to ensure that an idea together with some preliminary data can be further validated and its commercial potential exploited, says Henrijette Richter, Investment Director in Novo Seeds.

CytoGuide is a company that develops two-component drugs which target specific receptors on cells of the immune system, and by means of these receptors ensure efficient uptake of the drug where it is needed. The patented technology for directing drugs may be applicable for drug development in a range of disorders including inflammatory disease, which is the main focus area of the present development program. The company was founded at Aarhus University by the scientist team, Søren Moestrup, Holger Møller and Jonas Graversen.
