International Affairs are Happening in Medicon Valley

The headline refers to an article in the Swedish magasin "Näring", published in October 2007. This article sums up the idea behind Medicon Valley and the role of Medicon Valley Alliance (MVA). Medicon Valley is today an international well-established life science cluster, but it is a continued project to promote the work of the region's businesses, universities and hospitals - regionally as well as internationally. Globalisation is crucial in the life science industry and MVA is therefore besides it's local activities working on securing Medicon Valley a strong position in the premiere league of life science clusters globally. Genovis, a Swedish biotech company and a member of MVA, is in the article presented as an example of a company that knows the importance and the challenges of gaining a position in the Asian market.
