Dutch establishment in Medicon Valley

Life science industries: Xendo Pharmaservices A/S, a subsidiary of Dutch Xendo which offers a wide variety of services for the pharmaceutical industry, has established an office in Medicon Valley. The office is to open in Copenhagen in June.
Xendo’s entry into Scandinavia was initiated when the company established a subsidiary in Uppsala three years ago and now it is time for Medicon Valley, relates CEO Koos Koops from Xendo in Holland.
"We have already entered into an agreement with our first customer and we estimate to open our office with five-six employees, primarily engineers and process engineers. We are also looking for a Danish general manager and at the end of 2007 we expect to employ 15-20 staff," says Koos Koops.
