Medicon Valley Academy (MVA) is co-organiser of the conference programme and is also exhibiting at the trade fair with an 80m2 Medicon Valley exhibition area together with Copenhagen Capacity and Region Skåne.

BioTech Forum Partnering & Business Conference and additional events

The commercial focus of the Partnering & Business Conference is emphasised by the keynote speaker, the biotech investment visionary Steven Burrill, whose annual reports on the status of biotech industry are read worldwide.

The conference will deal with R&D issues for modern medicines development, which have been pinpointed as essential for the Innovative Medicines Initiative, a proposed joint undertaking between EU and the European pharma industry during FP 7. These are reflected in the sessions on Predictive Toxicology, CNS Biomarkers, CNS Therapeutics, and Diagnostics. Most speakers are from industry, big pharma, as well as biotech, and many will also participate in the partnering event (see below).
