RSS is an abbreviation of Really Simple Syndication and is a format for gathering and distributing news and the content of news-like sites.
RSS allows you to easily stay informed by retrieving the latest content from the websites you are interested in. You save time by not needing to visit each website individually.
Feed Reader software allows you to grab the RSS feeds from various websites and display them in your feed reader. A variety of RSS Readers are available for free and MS Explorer 7.0 has one incorporated.
Once you have your feed reader it is a matter of selecting the websites relevant for you and subscribing to their RSS feed. When doing this, you just add the URL address from the page showing the RSS feed to the list of feeds your Feed Reader.
