Project Management Network

The Project Management Network started in 2005, after a request from MVA members, to promote experience exchange, inspiration and mutual learning between project managers within all types of Medicon Valley organisations.

The participants come from big pharma as well as biotech, medtech and CROs (see Participants). Themes for discussions are decided from time to time and reflect the needs and proposals from the participants. Meeting venues may vary, and will include visits to member companies from Lund to Hørsholm.

During 2006 the network evaluated five different project management courses, and started its own Project Management Coaching course during the spring of 2007 with 16 participants. This course will be repeated according to need - the next starting in early 2008 (see Coaching Course).

During 2007, discussions were also held about topics such as Mentorship for project managers, Outsourcing - views from byuers and service providers, and Document Management. The PMN participants were also offered involvement in a MBA project regarding the influence of project management maturity.
