In the steering committee of Bladder Avademy the following players take a seat:

Bladder Avademy is developed on the initiative of Jens Peter Nørgaard, Ferring Pharmaceuticals. His idea of a urology network originated from his experience in urology, both as a medical doctor, his position in a pharmaceutical company and his position as a urology professor at Lund University. He saw Medicon Valley Alliance as the perfect platform to coordinate such a network especially because of the Danish-Swedish perspective.
Bladder Avademy is based on the concept of Øresund Diabetes Academy (link), however the Bladder Academy will continue as a MVA network and will not be a formel association like ØDA. In time the network should be running on its own, with only little coordination by MVA. Though, in the starting phase Bladder Academy is reliant on initiatives and project management form MVA.
