Medicon Valley Alliance has now entered into an agreement with LifeSciences British Columbia representing the cluster based in Vancouver, Canada.
The focus of the collaboration will be on knowledge sharing, establishing partnerships and identifying possible commercial opportunities between the two regions. The establishment of this collaboration between Medicon Valley Alliance and LifeSciences British Columbia represents the second such agreement as part of the Ambassador Programme, the first with a North Americain life sciences cluster.
Karimah es Sabar, President of LifeScience British Columbia, sees great potential through their cluster's participation in the Ambassador Programme, "On behalf of the entire biotech and life sciences community in British Columbia, I can honestly say we're all extremely excited and honoured to be a part of the Medicon Valley Ambassador Program. The linkages it will build between British Columbia and the Medicon Valley, as well as with all of the members of the ambassador network will be very valuable in building our respective clusters via global collaboration. We must all recognize that this is a global industry and we must build these kinds of partnerships in order to be collectively successful. The Ambassador Program is a perfect vehicle to make that happen."
