Membership fee

Medicon Valley Alliance is primarily financed by membership subscriptions. Subscriptions are paid by all relevant university faculties, hospitals, counties, pharma, medtech and biotech companies, investors, clinical research organisation, science parks, service providers and other organisations in the Øresund region, as well as associate members outside the region who have signed up to join Medicon Valley Alliance.

All members share a common interest in the development of the biotech, medtech and health sectors in the Øresund region. If in doubt, look here for 10 good reasons for being a member of Medicon Valley Alliance.

To resign from the membership, the member has to notify the Board of Directors in writing not later than 1 October the year before the resignation will take place. Get more information in the MVA regulations.

Fees

The membership subscription includes a basis fee (5000 DKK) and is then linear and depending on the number of employees.

• Regions and cities: 5000 DKK + 200 DKK per 1000 inhabitants
• Universities: 5000 DKK + 200 DKK per researcher
• All other members: 5000 DKK + 200 DKK per employee
  

Every year the membership fee is adjusted according to the average of the Danish and Swedish net price index. For this reason the actual membership fee might vary slightly from the fees shown below.
