Patent Agent at ACADIA Pharmaceuticals AB (Ref. # PA205MB)

The job 

The successful candidate will:

• Develop and maintain company patent applications
• Trade secrets, trademarks, copyrights, licensing and research agreements, publications, and intellectual property aspects of contracts and agreements
• Determine the patentability of inventions developed internally
• Manage outside patent counsel
• Lead preparation and filing of patent applications and trademark registrations, prosecution of pending applications and registrations, and policing of possible infringement
• Support overall strategic coordination of ACADIA's patent estate.

Your qualifications 

You must have a JD from an accredited law school with at least 5 years of experience as a patent attorney, agent or examiner.

Ph.D. in a core scientific discipline is preferred.

Location 

Workplace location for this positions will be located at our newly built laboratory facilities at Medeon Science Park in Malmo, Sweden.
