Øresund Diabetes Day, January 2009

On 26 January, more than 45 participants from academia, hospitals, patient organisations and industry in both Sweden and Denmark met at the Panum Institute in Copenhagen for the Øresund Diabetes Day. 

The event was arranged by Øresund Diabetes Academy and Medicon Valley Alliance evolved around the theme “Glycemic Control in Type 2 Diabetes: Too Much of a Good Thing - and Alternatives?”.

In addition to the capturing scientific presentations and discussions, the participants had plenty of opportunities of networking with peers within Medicon Valley to exchange experiences and discuss potential future collaborations. 

The next Øresund Diabetes Day will be held in Sweden 9 February 2010 between 13.00-18.00.
