Dr. Joern-Peter Halle is heading the Early Stage licensing function at Merck Serono and leading the negotiations as regards pre-clinical product opportunities and technologies. His function also includes a Search & Evaluation team looking into external product opportunities in all pre-clinical and clinical development stages in Oncology, Autoimmune & Inflammatory diseases, Neurodegenerative diseases, Fertility, and Endocrinology.
Dr. Eli Hazum is the author of more than 100 scientific publications in various areas of drug development. Dr. Hazum has previously been professor at the Weizmann Institute, Department Head of Receptor Research and Metabolic Diseases Glaxo Inc., in North Carolina and had various executive research positions at Biotechnology General Corp. and as V.P. of R&D at Peptor Ltd.
Prof. Borrebaeck is a permanent member of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences. His research field is antibody engineering, immunotherapy, B-cell lymphomas, and molecular mechanisms of allergy and antibody microarrays for high-throughput proteomics.

He focuses especially on pricing organization and processes and on the healthcare systems of the EU member states.
Within P&I global organization Philippe Cestele is in charge of initial evaluation of projects and opportunities, contract implementation, and partnership management in the oncology therapeutic domain focusing geographically on the Northern Europe Countries and France. Philippe Cestele is a doctor in Pharmaceutical Sciences and holds a Business School Master.
Alex Haahr Gouliaev is a co-founder of Nuevolution A/S. He served as Vice President, Chemistry and Drug Discovery from 2001 until he was appointed Chief Executive Officer in September 2005. Prior to that he was Director of Medicinal Chemistry, member of the Management group, and a member of the Board of Directors at NeuroSearch A/S.
Andrew Munk is responsible for the management and project development of the Medicon Valley Ambassador Program. He is involved in the development and relationship management with international biotechnology clusters, foreign companies and organizations. Prior to joining Medicon Valley Alliance, Andrew Munk was Senior Trade Advisor for Health & Life Sciences in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
