Bio + IT Post Doc Programme

The Bio+IT Post Doc programme is an initiative by Øresund IT Academy (ØIA) and Medicon Valley Alliance financed by Øresund Science Region

The Bio+IT programme will stimulate and raise the profile of developments in the Øresund region, and influence it in the direction of excellence in the interface between biotechnology and IT.

Nine Post Doc positions have been established within three key areas:
System biology, 3D modelling of molecular structures and Nanobiotechnology.

These three areas have considerable potential and have attained a critical mass. There are also enormous possibilities for integrating the projects across the boundaries of Øresund and between biotech and IT.

In order to enhance the level of integration, exchange of experience, visibility and network formation in the Bio+IT programme, ØIA and MVA will be co-ordinating selected future activities. Another important role will be to consolidate the projects commercial development possibilities.
