Scandinavian Biotech Arena is the common title for the three parallel biotech events at MalmöMässan 8 – 10 October in Malmö, Sweden: CONNECT Biomedical Partnership Forum, BioTech Forum and Medicon Valley BioConference 2002. Each event has specific focus area and separate programmes:
Medicon Valley BioConference 2002: Medicon Valley BioConference is a three-day scientific conference for all players within biomedical and biotechnological research and development in Medicon Valley.
Medicon Valley Academy has since 1997 arranged the Medicon Valley BioConference. Participants are primarily scientist from hospitals, universities and the biotech industry and relevant actors and decision makers within biomedical research and development. This year, we expect 1200 participants. The aim of the conference is 1) to create an event where scientists primarily in Medicon Valley can present their research results and exchange knowledge – giving a state-of-the-art of the scientific competencies in Medicon Valley and 2) to create network across boarders and across biotechnological and biomedical disciplines.
Biotech ForumBioTech Forum is the trade fair for companies, researchers and business executives involved in biotechnological development. In this area there will also be a stage with daily seminars and matchmaking. For exhibition stands please contact BioTech Forum.
CONNECT Biomedical Partnership Forum:CONNECT Biomedical Partnership Forum is a two-day forum where representatives for young, innovative companies or research projects within biomedicine have the opportunity to meet the industry, investors and representatives from the professional service sector.
