BioTech Forum Science Conference is the most important scientific meeting place in Scandinavia.

The conference is a three-day event for regional, national and international players within biomedical and biotechnological research and development. The conference is a unique occasion for scientists and biotech players from hospitals, universities and industry to present their latest research results and create scientific and interdisciplinary network and partnerships. The program will be of relevance to scientists both in academia and industry as well as to postgraduate and PhD students.

The conference is organised by Medicon Valley Academy – a regional Swedish/Danish network organisation with the aim of catalysing integration and development in the Øresund region – in co-operation with the Swedish Proteomics Society and Øresund Food Network.

BioTech Forum Science Conference presents scientific sessions focusing on:

Strong history

Since 1998, MVA has organised a regional BioConference for the medico- and biotech actors in the Øresund region. The concept has continuously developed and in October 2002, the BioConference was held in connection with Scandinavian Biotech Arena - the largest and most important biotech event in Northern Europe that year.

Never before in the history of the Øresund region have so many companies, institutions and organisations involved in biotechnology been gathered in one place. Over 350 exhibition stands from more than 15 different countries formed the setting for an ambitious showpiece for basic research, biotech business and funding. More than 900 people attended the scientific BioConference to present research within the region's main competencies.
