MVA 10 year anniversary

This year MVA turns 10, which will be celebrated with a grand Jubilee event on 30 October from 3-6 pm.

The theme of the event is Regional Excellence and Global Challenges. Prominent speakers from science and business will look towards the future and give their picture of where research is leading us and what the role of regional bioclusters will be in the future globally. The speakers include:

• Anders Björklund, Prof. at Wallenberg Neurocenter, Lund University

• Søren Brunak, Prof. & Director at Centre of Biological Sequence Analysis, DTU

• Claus Møller, COO of Genmab

• Fredrik Tiberg, CEO of Camurus and winner of the Strictly Financing Award 2007

As part of the Medicon Valley Life Science Tour, the MVA Jubilee Prize will be awarded for the best Baccalaureate essay about the future of life science in Medicon Valley. You can also update your history on MVA 1997-2007 by browsing our Jubilee poster exhibition. Not the least you can enjoy the buffet and wine before and after the talks while networking with your colleagues from the region.
