Press meeting –  “Bringing Genomes to Life” -   (location: Building 306, Auditorium 31)
Cross border research is a necessity if knowledge on the humane genome is to be utilized in the research and development of new medicine. Methods and techniques to study the complexity of biological systems and the interplay between genes and proteins are vital parts in this development. The pioneers in this work will together with Jens Nielsen from DTU in Copenhagen explain and discuss the newest research towards the goal of Bringing Genomes to Life.

Press meeting - The revolution in understanding food – Nutrigenomics (location: Building 306, Auditorium 31)
Understanding the interplay between genomes, nutrition and human health is a keystone in the process of improving health in the world. To study the effects of different kind of food on a molecular level in the body brings us closer to prevent some of the most important diseases such as diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases and cancer and to produce safer food. Some of the foremost scientists in this area of research is attending the meeting ECB12 - Bringing Genomes to life in Copenhagen and will discuss some of the aspects of the newest research.
