A two-day conference on Scandinavian Biotechnology. The programme will cover research policy, current biotechnological research, innovations in the biomedical industry and investment opportunities.
The conference will also provide an opportunity for networking. It will bring together influential politicians from the Scandinavian countries, executive heads of both large and small research-oriented biomedical enterprises and distinguished scientists.
The conference is being organised by the Norwegian Embassies in
Sweden and Denmark in collaboration with Medcoast Scandinavia and
Nycomed and is part of Norway’s Centennial Anniversary Programme
1905-2005 in Denmark and Sweden.
MedCoast Scandinavia is a Swedish/Norwegian networking membership
organisation founded to strengthen and develop further the
biomedical sector in the Göteborg-Oslo (GO) region. Collaboration
initiatives between scientists, businesses and the public sector
are steadily increasing.
