Career

 

Marianne Kock has more than 25 years of experience from a number of high-level positions in the Danish pharmaceutical industry.

Marianne Kock started her pharmaceutical career at Leo Pharmaceuticals in 1981 where she was appointed Head of Sterile Ointment Production and Packaging department.

In 1985 Marianne decided to pursue her career elsewhere and joined Novo Industries A/S, later known as Novo Nordisk, where she held several positions such as: Head of Packaging Department, Head of Sterile Production, Regulatory Officer, Regulatory Manager, Project Manager, Project Vice President and finally Vice President of Regulatory Business Support, Regulatory Affairs.

After a long career at Novo Nordisk, Marianne accepted a position of Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Ferring Pharmaceuticals A/S in December 2002 where she was responsible for obtaining world-wide marketing authorizations of new and older products as well as line extensions.

In addition to Marianne's position as Senior Vice President, Global Regulatory Affairs, which now includes overall responsibility for Global Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance world-wide and the support functions of global archiving and library, Marianne accepted an additional role in January 2006 as Vice General Manager of Ferring Internationational PharmaScience Centre taking responsibility for numerous tasks during the General Manager's absence.  

 

Education and areas of expertise

 

With her many years of experience, Marianne has acquired extensive know-how within the fields of Discovery, Development, Product, Quality Assurance and Marketing, and has a good cultural understanding during collaboration with different partners and contacts worldwide.

As an executive MBA with a background in discovery, development and launch of new pharmaceutical products world-wide, Marianne can contribute with many activities within the pharmaceutical industry.
