The creation of a new financing network for biotech SME's in the Baltic Sea Region is on the agenda for an EU co-funded project (FP7) called Bridge-BSR. The objective of the financing network is to close the financial gap, which is a barrier for the exploitation of academic research in SME's throughout the region.
