Ultrazonix raises SEK 30 million in a new investment round

The present owners, Scandinavian Life Science Ventures (SLSV) and Industrifonden are investing SEK 30 million in Malmö based Ultrazonix during 2005.

Ultrazonix provides help for patients with spinal problems, at a lower cost, through the use of a new technique based upon high intensity focused ultrasound thereby avoiding major surgery. To support this, Ultrazonix has gathered a unique capability of International skills in necessary fields. Experts in surgery, medical techniques, biochemistry and management are working with Ultrazonix.
