Copenhagen Capacity and Position Skåne, together representing Medicon Valley, have taken the initiative to the project “The Scandinavian Pavilion” as a starting point for a strong exposure of the Scandinavian biotech and pharma industry in Philadelphia this summer.
“The Scandinavian Pavilion” stand is at 334 square metres from which Denmark and Sweden – inclusive of Medicon Valley – Norway, Finland and Iceland are to market the Scandianvian biotechnological competences.
Medicon Valley holds one third of the total stand area. Here, on approx. 100 square metres, it is possible for a line of companies, investors, universities, hospitals and service organizations to market themselves towards the very important international public, participating in the conference. In 2004 more than 20,000 persons visited the conference.
The participants at the stand will have the opportunity to present their competences and it will be possible to arrange one-to-one meetings with other exhibitors of the conference. The purpose of the Scandinavian collaboration is first and foremost to increase the companies’ business opportunities and to present Scandinavia as a strong international player within biotech and related businesses.
Copenhagen Capacity and Position Skåne will man the stand, thus offering the participating companies the possibility to participate in the meetings, lectures and other activities going on during the four days. We also bear most of the exhibition costs.
