NNE acquires the Swedish company Carmetec AB
NNE, a leading international provider of pharmaceutical facilities, consulting and engineering services, acquires the life science consulting and cleanroom company, Carmetec AB. The Uppsala-based Carmetec is recognised as the leading supplier of complete cleanroom solutions to the Swedish life science industry.
The acquisition represents a significant expansion of NNE’s local presence in Sweden. It will bring NNE up to 35 employees in Sweden within process engineering, cleanroom, automation, GMP and validation and together NNE and Carmetec are expected to generate a total turnover above 80 MSEK by year end in Sweden.

Carmetec will change its name to NNE Carmetec AB, but will keep its existing product palette focused on cleanroom services. The two founders of Carmetec, Hanno Lindroth and Owe Sandqvist, will continue as Managing Director and Operation Manager of the company. NNE Sweden AB will remain focused on competences within project management, process engineering, automation, GMP and validation, and Leif Bo Ölgaard will continue as Managing Director.
